I wish I had nicer things to say about this figurine, but frankly (no pun intended), there isn't much. It's a "designer toy", which essentially means "expensive vinyl plastic". The Dunny line amongst many others was designed by Frank Kozik for Kidrobot back in the early 2000s.
I admire Kozik's work, it's quite cool, and I also used to collect Kidrobot's Tokidoki figurines. When I saw this figurine online, I knew I had to have it. I didn't realize it then, but I actually own some of the newer mystery mini "labbits" as well. I wish there was a clockwork labbit, but the only one I could see semi-resembling this one is the 2006 "Smorkin" Orange Vinyl Labbit. They have them in other colors, too. How thrilling.
The Official Clockwork Dunny is supposed to come with everything pictured, as was in the 2007 series 4 mystery figure box. There's also a white and suspendered variant out there, but it's super rare...and super expensive. But I really like the orange on this. I know I complained about the cartoony orange base for the 1/12 Mezco figure, but the same color on this figure ACTUALLY makes sense. When the sunlight hits it just right, it looks like a little angry orange ball of light. It's adorable.

| his cheek also has a little scuff. i would say it "gives him character" if he weren't such an expensive collectible |
That being said, the paint job for something "designer" and highly expensive is less than stellar. I'm not sure if people back in the 2000s knew that these were gonna be hyper expensive later, but it gets scuffed REALLY easily. I bought this little guy preowned and the paint on the accessories was starting to wear away between the grabby hands.
I'll give Kidrobot the benefit of the doubt, but resellers are on a whole different planet. I got a steal on this guy, I'll tell you that much (and thank you to the very kind eBay seller that sold it to me). Also...it does have the little eyeballs painted on either hand, but...they're green. Green. It's like they're trying to make me mad.
